The Details
Tandale Nature Barn is a 5,400 square foot modern rustic barn. This includes 2 physical bars, dance floor, head table, gift table, buffet tables and cake table. The maximum capacity is 220 guests and this does include wedding party.
Food
We have a catering prep room, but it is not a kitchen. Whether you are doing a buffet-style or plated dinner, the caterer needs to cook it off site and keep it hot.
Heating elements are allowed. If you prefer not to use warmers, food must be brought in hot from a catering vehicle.

Two refrigerators are provided on site, as well as a half barrel size kegerator.
The Tandale facility does have a large ice machine for your bartenders and caterers (available for an additional $150).
Liability Insurance
When you secure your space at Tandale, it is required of you to also purchase Event Liability Insurance with Host Liquor Liability
Coverage (a minimum of $1,000,000) for the day of your event.
Tandale LLC and the property owners need to be added as additionally insured.

Please note that alcohol can only be served by certified bartenders.
Prep / Staging Areas
There is a Bridal Suite available
inside the house (included in your rental), as well as areas inside the barn that may be used for staging and storage during your event.
Heat/Air Conditioning
Tandale Nature Barn has both heating and air conditioning, so we can accommodate the comfort of your guests year-round.
Restrooms, Accessibility and Parking
We have indoor, handicap accessible, rustic modern restrooms.

Our ceremony sites are all outdoor and are accessibly by paths.

There is parking for 126 vehicles, including 5 handicap parking spots. This is only a short walk from the barn and ceremony sites. Golf carts will be available to assist those who need help.
Decorations
Tandale Nature Barn is rented
as is. All services, vendors, and decorations must be arranged by the renter.

Please take note of the decorations and items NOT allowed:
- Rice
- Confetti
- Glitter
- Candles (floating candles are okay)
- Silly string
- Fireworks
Deposits & Refunds
A 50% event deposit is needed to reserve your date, with the remaining 50% due 120 days before your date. Deposits are non refundable. If you should cancel your event for any reason, the deposit can be refunded if your date can be re-booked with a comparable event.​
A $500 security deposit is required 60 days before your event. You agree to pay for any damages to the barn, house, or grounds that occur during your event.
Set Up & Clean Up
For a Saturday event you will have use of the venue on Friday from Noon until 10PM and Saturday from 10AM til Midnight. The tables and chairs will be set up for you by Friday at Noon. You can begin decorating at any time after that.
After your event the venue and grounds must be free of derbis and decorations. We will dispose of garbage but it must be in the bins provided. Failure to clean up will result in a $350 cleaning fee.
